Visit to Near Shore Drilling Platform 'West Castor'

Staatsolie's Board of Executive Directors and Nearshore Drilling project team members visited the West Castor drilling platform on 1 April 2019. The drilling platform is at the location of the first exploration well in the nearshore of Suriname, Marai, about 20 km from the coast. "It will be 300 very exciting days for us," says Managing Director Rudolf Elias. Together with Upstream Director Wim Dwarkasing and part of the Nearshore Drilling project team, he was given a tour of the West Castor for the first time.
