Doing your internship on the boat

Eleven focused and enthusiastic students from the Suriname Maritime Institute (SMI) started the SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) training on Monday 10 June.
This is one of the basic safety training courses for sailors. The seven-day training is also a request for doing an internship on two ships of Medserv, the logistics contractor of the Staatsolie Nearshore Drilling project.
